Sovetish heimland

Dear all,

I am trying to clarify some issues regarding the magazine "Sovetish
heimland" (with this spelling I try to render the way it sounded to me),
that was published in Jiddish in the Soviet Union still in the 1970-s (not
sure about later). I saw it a couple of times as a child, and I think I
remember that it was in the Latin alphabet, but opened "from the back". Do I
remember it correctly?
