best examples of Russian comedy

I would include Ilf and Petrov - short piece: "How the Soviet Robinson 
was Created";  long piece "Twelve Chairs"--there are two Russian film 
versions (at least) and Mel Brooke's "Twelve Chairs" using both really 
opens up a discussion on comedy, I've found.
