Russian/Soviet Films on the Cold War

Let me preface my comment by saying that my academic discipline is international education not Russian studies so I may be completely off the mark with my comment.  Although not a film, your student may want to show some of the episodes of the "Sword and the Shield."  I am under the impression that this series had a tremendous impact on Putin's desires to join the KGB and tends to focus on the cold war.
