Well, in that case let's not forget the wonderfully goofy "My Man Godrfrey" (1938?), with William Powell and Carole Lombard, where Mischa Auer plays the crazy mother's "protege" Carlo (is that supposed to be a Russian name?!),who keeps taking cords on the piano and singing the first line of "Ochi chernye".  Higly recommended.
