I forgot to add that one of the useful things about lib.ru is the 
particular list of translations at
http://az.lib.ru/janr/index_janr_4-1.shtml

which includes translations BY famous Russian writers. For example: 
Sologub's version of "Candide," some pieces by Cervantes and Goldoni 
translated by Ostrovsky, Kuzmin's "Merry Wives of Windsor," etc. and 
a large collection of Annensky's translations of Greek plays.
(A few of the items are excerpts only).
