PDA devices and dictionaries

All,

I have a colleague in Biology who will be traveling to Russia this spring 
(he has studied Russian and is at an intermediate level) and he is 
interested in purchasing a PDA or some other electronic device that he can 
load a Russian-English dictionary onto.  Do you have any recommendations on 
devices or electronic dictionaries that can be loaded onto them?  I know 
very little about this, and so am hoping that one of you can help.
