* Exactly, but these good people are under the impression and
insist that "Bannock" is a Russian word.
But then, they use the work "Berock", meaning "Pirog" ...
therefore "Bannock" could have once been a derivative of ????

Just curious how words can be massacred and twisted and eventually
insist on recognition.
