Lecturer Balkan and South Slavic Literature

The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures of the UNIVERSITY
OF CHICAGO is welcoming applications for a possible position as full-
time lecturer (six courses over three quarters) with a specialization
in Balkan and South Slavic literature. The position is dependent
upon funding, the availability of which should be known some time in
June 2006. The position may also be renewable, again dependent upon
funding.
Applicants will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate
courses and must be at least ABD (Ph.D. is preferred). To be
considered, prospects should submit at least 3 letters of
recommendation, a CV, transcripts, samples of scholarly writing, and
a cover letter to:
