Dear Donna,
I had a similar problem once. I tried two things: I tried my disc on a  
computer with an older version of MS Office, and I also looked for  
extended language support on my MS Office CD and on the web. Both  
worked.
If there is URL listed on the CDs that you bought, you might want to  
check that out in case there is technical support provided on line.
