The big names, such as Petrushevskaya, Ulitskaya, Tolstaya, etc,
have all been translated, as well as some that are sold in bookstores
under the "Glamur" ("glamour," pop-culture) category: Robsky,
Denezhkina and the likes.

Dear Seelangers, An acquaintance who does not read Russian asked me about recent women writers in Russia and whether any of their works have been translated into English. Since the last two decades I have been busy with folklore I have not kept up with recent writers. Please respond to my own address. Thanks much, James Bailey ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use your web browser to search the archives, control your subscription options, and more.
