AAASS 2007 chair needed for post-Soviet panel

Dear Seelangers, This is really last minute but previously I had posted a call for participants in a panel on post-Soviet culture with the topic: How de-legitimated Soviet master narratives continue to inform post-Soviet cultural space.   We now have an almost complete panel: I am presenting on Pelevin's Chapaev i Pustota, Meghan Vicks (CU Boulder) is presenting on "The Return" and Andrew Chapman (University of Pittsburgh) is presenting on the concept of Vospitanie/Perevospitanie in post-Soviet film.  Our discussant is Mark Lipovetsky (CU Boulder).   We still need a chair, however, so if anyone would be interested in participating in our panel in that capacity, please contact me at ja2265 at columbia.edu ASAP (deadline is tomorrow!) with a current CV.
