pronunciatio of a Russian acronym

[Emily Saunders]

I have heard it pronounced DiViDi (dee-vee-dee) much the same as in  
English.  And I've also heard the term DiViDyshnik -- though I'm not  
sure of meaning, spelling in Russian, nor exact pronunciation.
