Anglo mis-stressing

It's refreshing to see a note or two of levity in these exchanges, which 
have been wonderfully enlightening in so many ways and from so many points 
of view. We're all in the same club. We learn from each other.

On a slightly related note (very slightly), I'm reminded of the punchline to 
one of Steve Martin's comic routines, delivered in his patented faux-naive 
and mock-exasperated manner: "Those French!" he said with wry intent. 
"They've got a different word for everything!"
