Also there is a poem by Gennady Grigor'ev (a brilliant poet from St. Petersburg who died just two months ago) "Nochnoi dozor". Try to google it, using the following lines "Ночной дозор, как прежде, под надзором,//Но он не даст покрыть себя позором..."
