African-American emigration from the US to the Soviet Union

Dear SEELangentsiia,

Can anyone point me to sources for the history of African-American 
emigration from the U.S. to the Soviet Union?  Works on the 
African-American (immigrant/expat) experience in the Soviet Union would 
also be appreciated.  I will summarize the responses for the list.
