Vera, Thank you for this reference to Nikolai Tolstoy--so many have
wondered about the extent and history of the Tolstoy clan.

Note to Steven Hill: I think for "grand nephew" it would be more
idiomatic to say "vnuchatyi plemiannik," at least that's what my
pra-diadia calls me.
