Mandel'shtam's Stalin Epigram

Colleagues:
Can anyone tell me whether there has been any new research on how Stalin learned about Mandel'shtam's poem, "Мы живем, под собою не чуя страны" (My zhivem, pod soboju ne chuja strany)? Is it known whether someone denounced him directly or whether it was just the case that a samizdat version of the poem must have fallen into the wrong hands? Thanks.
