Help with a poem fragment...

Dear SEELANGERS...

I was stuck in Houston traffic the other day, and a fragment of what I
think is a poem by Mayakovsky floated up into my consciousness:  "I (or
A) led vse idet..."

Does this ring a bell with anyone out there?  If it is Mayakovsky, I'm
suspecting that it's from "Pro eto," but ultimately I thought I'd rely
on the collective knowledge SEELANG for some help.  And it quite well
could be from some other source and that I've just forgotten about.

Needless to say, as opposed to Houston traffic (or at least what I
encountered at that time) ice does move much faster.
