Call for Papers for the European Popular Culture Area of the 2009
Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Cultural studies panels now forming on topics related to English and
non-English representations of popular culture from Europe.
Possible areas of interest include film, music, literature, photography, folk
culture, art, comic books, parades, etc.
Scholars, teachers, independent scholars, and other interested professionals
are encouraged to submit proposals for papers and/or panels.
Graduate students are also particularly welcome with award opportunities for
best graduate papers.
Conference Dates: February 25th – 28th, 2008
Deadline for proposals: November 30th, 2008
Early Bird Registration Deadline (with discount): November 30th,
2008
Registration Deadline: December 31, 2008 (all participants and chairs must
register by this date!)
