Term Instructor of Russian-- University of Alaska Anchorage

The Department of Languages at the University of Alaska Anchorage 
(UAA) is seeking a full-time term instructor of Russian.  Must have 
native/near native proficiency in both English and Russian, 
demonstrable skills in teaching Russian at the college level, 
experience teaching at a U.S. institution, willingness to work with 
the students outside the classroom setting, and sensitivity to a 
diverse student population.  M.A. or higher in Russian or related 
field, documented interest in second language teaching methods, and 
experience using the communicative approach are required.  
Collegiality is a must.  The successful candidate will work with the 
program coordinator in a team environment to further develop a closely 
articulated Russian language and culture program.
