Russian losing status in FSU

Take a look at page 33 in the June 9 issue of Newsweek, "The East Looks West." The major theme is that new generations of young people in the former Union republics are not learning Russian. Much of the focus is on Georgia, which is a special interest of mine. Tremendous implications, in my view - not all of them good.
