Also there is a wonderful Zoschenko short story, but I can't remember the 
title, about a poor soul who tries to go to an office, but can't get served, 
so goes away and rings up instead. Then he get's what he wants, and is so 
grateful that he goes back to the office to thank them, but can't get 
served. Or something like that. I tried to find it when I was teaching an 
advanced group a few years ago, but I couldn't. Does anyone know it?
