Spell check for Office 2008?

Dear SEELANGers,

Has anyone had any luck finding a spell check that will work on  
Macintosh OS X (10.5.5) with Office 2008 (primarily for use with  
Word)?  The Leopard version of OS X includes a Russian spell checker  
but our tech people haven't found any way that Office 2008 can access  
it.  I'd be very grateful if anyone has solved this problem and would  
be willing to share the secret.
