Mary Reed in the siege of Leningrad

Dear Seelangers, 
 
I'm trying to find out more about Mary Reed, sister of John, who was the only Westerner, so far as I can discover, to experience the siege of Leningrad. Olga Berggolts, in her diary entry of May 8th '42, describes Mary as "dying of hunger". Any more leads would be much appreciated!
