PS - It's probably worth adding that "undisputed" may also indicate that Motion, while personally and poetically close to the likes of Craig Raine and Christopher Reid, evidently has a different opinion of Brodsky's poetry, and for that matter the ways in which it is appropriate for the living poet to address the dead. And stone takes us back to the First Osia too.
