gorod Pinsk in Russian literature

Dear Ms. Mathys,

Yakub Kolas worked for about two years in Pinsk. Ryszard Kapuscinski and Napoleon Orda also have ties to Pinsk. The work that comes immediately to mind, however (aside from Tom Leher's "Lobachevsky"... ), when thinking of Pinsk is Dunin-Marcinkiewicz's "Pinskaya shlyakhta."

Hope this helps!

Best,

Kevin

Dear all,

I'd be very glad, getting ideas about where in the literature, the belarussian town of Pinsk plays a role. Or if one writer an important time of his/her life spent in Pinsk.
I ask this, because I'm planning a cultural project in Pinsk.

Thank you very much for your answers!

Best regards
Nicole Mathys
