Iazyki slavyanskikh kul'tur (not Iazyki slavianskoi kul'tury, by the way) is a reputable publishing house. Here's the list of their publications:

Mann's book (which is in very good company) is listed as being prepared for publication as of April, 2009.

Presumably, they would not bother with hoaxes.
