writing and comprehensibility

Dear SEELANGers:

 

I'd like to know where I can find literature on the relationship between
second-language learner writing and degrees of comprehensibility (in
Slavic and/or non-Slavic languages). What I am after is the extent to
which problems in aspects of morphology, syntax and discourse interfere
with comprehension of the second-language learners' writing.
