According to the text it says they are "very izlikny", which means it's unlikely to be the name of a tribe.

Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry I didn't mention before that the document from 1710-11 quoted below is what I'm working on, I couldn't send any more messages to the list yesterday because I'd reached my quota. It's possible that the word is a misprint or a Chukchi word.

Just a wild hunch. Could it be that the mysterious words are Chukchee
ethnonyms (po chukotski) for tribes living there (Alaska or wherever)?
