The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Union College announces an opening for an adjunct instructor position in Russian language beginning in fall 2010. The successful candidate will teach one second year Russian language course in fall term (Russian 200) and one second year language course in the spring term 2011 (Russian 202); it is anticipated that the Department will continue to require an adjunct in future years. Candidates must have native or near-native Russian language ability, training and/or experience in modern methods of foreign language pedagogy, experience teaching Russian language and familiarity with the American university system. Applicants should hold an MA or PhD in Russian. Applications should include a cover letter and CV with a list of references.
