No, unfortunately the original calendar wasn't a parody, but a project sponsored by the "Nashi" movement. Please see a comment by Elena Gapova, a member of this list, in her blog on LiveJournal (including a link to a YouTube clip that was meant to accompany the original "Nashi" calendar):
