Assistant Professor of Russian: tenure-track.
Applicants must have a Ph. D., a native or near-native command of Russian
and English, and a demonstrable commitment to teaching, including language
instruction. The successful candidate must be willing to lead the department's
foreign study program in St. Petersburg on a regular basis. In addition to a
firm grounding in Russian literature, we are interested in candidates with a
strong interdisciplinary focus. Possible areas of expertise include folklore,
cultural studies, the arts, socio-political contexts, or the non-Russian regions
of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Send letter of application,
