Literature on exclusive living forms

Dear SEELANGerS,

I would greatly appreciate any ideas, tipps regarding texts in Russian  
literature on exclusive living forms, in both senses of the word. What  
I am most interested in are postcommunist types of secluded and  
secured gated-community-type living situations, but other exclusive  
living in (post)communist times is also of interest.
