Rutgers in Russia: Summer 2011

The Program in Russian and East European Languages and Literatures and 
Study Abroad of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, announce 
our summer study abroad program in St. Petersburg. The six week program, 
now in its third year, will start on May 27 and end on July 10, 2011. 
Students will enroll in intensive 6 credit language courses (taught by 
the faculty of The Center for International Programs of St. Petersburg 
State University) and a 3 credit course, "Leningrad Besieged: The City 
Transformed in War and Terror" (co-taught in English by Rutgers faculty 
from the Russian Program and Department of History).

Undergraduate and graduate students with no knowledge of Russian are 
eligible to apply, although some knowledge of Russian is preferred. *All 
New Jersey residents, regardless of college affiliation are eligible for 
in-state tuition.*Because of visa considerations, the deadline for
