A colleague who specializes in Chinese drama is trying to locate the
source of a translated quote from a Mayakovsky poem. She's pretty sure
the cited text is from a poem and not a play.  She would like to use
an existing English translation of these lines, but would likely be
grateful for any correct English translation.
Here is her post:

here is the line below (as i have translated it from chinese--it was
very tricky to translate because of the length of the line and its
grammatical structure in chinese), so perhaps we can find someone who
knows what poem it is from and i can find the existing english
translation.
