Central Eurasian Studies Summer Institute at UW-Madison

Dear Friends,

Though the official application deadline has passed, we are still 
accepting applications from students to take the following courses
at the 2013 Central Eurasian Studies Summer Institute, CESSI:

*intensive elementary Kazakh
*intensive intermediate Kazakh
*intensive elementary Uyghur
*intensive elementary Uzbek

CESSI 2013 will also feature lectures (in English) on Central Eurasian 
history and culture and a rich program of cultural events
and field trips related to the countries of Central Eurasia.

Fee remission scholarships are still available for eligible applicants.

CESSI is a joint initiative of 17 U.S. Department of Education-funded 
National Resource Centers at 10 U.S. universities.
