Mellon Faculty Fellow Position in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies at the College of William and Mary

The Russian and Post-Soviet Studies Program of the College of William & Mary invites applications from recent Ph.D.s for the position of a Mellon Faculty Fellow in the humanities or social sciences.  Russian and Post-Soviet Studies is an interdisciplinary major that focuses on culture, history and politics of a vast region spanning from East-Central Europe to Siberia and Central Asia and is supported by faculty affiliates from several departments.



The successful candidate will have a two-year appointment, a reduced three-course load per year, a salary of $50,000, and will also benefit from mentorship and research support. The qualifications are Ph.D. in hand at the time of appointment (August 10, 2014), and a demonstrated interest in blending undergraduate teaching with research.  An interest and expertise in European Studies will also be helpful.
