ASEEES 2014: New Media and the Memory of Perestroika

Dear Colleagues,

I am looking to organize a panel on New Media and the Memory of Perestroika
for next year's conference. I would like to know if anyone is interested in
presenting on how the Internet is used in Russia or the independent
countries of the former Soviet Union to speak about the perestroika era and
what the memory and attitudes towards that time period mean in the
contemporary context. If you have a paper idea and would be interested in
serving as a panelist please contact me at jacob.lassin at yale.edu. Thank you
