Your thoughts on double-blind marking/refereeing would be much appreciated:
If a set of test papers is given for marking to a committee which includes a candidate for the said test, who knows all the other candidates personally, and has had special access to the test denied to other candidates, can such a marking process be called "double blind" in any meaningful sense?
I know this sounds incredible.
Thanks in advance,
Robert Orr
