Russian literature to inmates

A self-congratulating statement if there ever was one. You have it
backwards. Russian literature is taught to inmates because those who teach
it know it well. Philosophy professors teach philosophy. And,
occasionally, inmates find consolation in that as well. But yeah, Russian
lit should be taught everywhere, cause it sure prevented lots of crime in
Russia.
