The Nabokov Online Journal congratulates the winner of the 2013 prize
for the Best Scholarly Contribution in the area of Nabokov Studies,
Professor Stephen H. Blackwell, with his book The Quill and the
Scalpel: Nabokov's Art and the Worlds of Science (2009).

The second floor of the Shakespeare and Company was fully packed as we
have celebrated the double anniversary of Nabokov and Shakespeare
during the book launch of Lolita – The Story of a Cover Girl: Vladimir
Nabokov’s Novel in Art and Design (2013), andShades of Laura: Vladimir
Nabokov’s Last Novel, The Original of Laura (2013), two projects that
took shape on the pages of the Nabokov Online Journal.

We would like to thank all the SEELANGS members who took part in the
election of the winner of the 2013 NOJ prize for the Best Scholarly
Contribution.
