our High School Russian program is in danger of being cut - need suggestions and ideas

I wonder if you could say that 914,217 U.S. residents speak Russian at home according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau figures (from 2012). Of that total, 420, 163 say that they speak English "less than very well."  if you live in an area with many of these speakers, knowing Russian can be useful even in the U.S. Russian is the 11th most spoken non-English language/language group in the U.S.
