Recruiting Russian language learners for research

Dear SEELANGS Community,
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Applied Linguistics at Penn State seeking research participants for my dissertation project. I am looking for learners studying intermediate and advanced Russian in domestic immersion programs in the U.S. this summer, and students in summer study abroad programs in Russian-speaking countries. If you could forward my recruitment email (below) at your earliest convenience to any potentially eligible students, I would greatly appreciate it. Dear Russian language learner,

My name is Edie Furniss and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Applied Linguistics department at the Pennsylvania State University. I am requesting your participation in my dissertation research. I am seeking participants who are either:

- enrolled in a summer Russian language program in the U.S.
OR
- participating in a summer study abroad program to a Russian-speaking country

As part of this research, you will be asked to complete a series of tasks. Because all of these tasks must be completed online, participants must have access to a computer with an Internet connection and a headset with a microphone.

If you choose to participate in this research, you will be compensated with an Amazon gift certificate for up to $35 (depending on your level of participation).
