Along the same vein and in an obviously self-promoting capacity, there is a
more recent publication on the Woccon language: Blair A. Rudes. 2000.
Resurrecting Coastal Catawban: The Reconstituted Phonology and Morphology of
Woccon. Southern Journal of Linguistics 24.2:228-244.  The Southern Journal
of Linguistics is the new name for the SECOL Journal and is published out of
UNC Charlotte.  So, if anyone wants a copy of the article, let me know.
