Hi, Dick.
I intend (hope, expect) to attend the conference, but haven't made any
specific plans yet --  it's been iffy whether I'd manage to fit it between
other summer commitments etc., so I hadn't thought about it very seriously
till now, but I guess the time has come to make reservations etc. if I'm
going to do it.   Looks like I WILL be able to get away that weekend, at
this point.

I won't have time to put together a real paper, but could talk informally
about conjunction if you have blank spots in the schedule...   let me know
if you'd like me to do this.

A couple of questions:

(1)  Do you have a schedule set?  Starting and ending times?  I'll be
fairly tight on time and may need to leave Saturday; it would help to know
what's happening when.

(2)  Where are people staying?  Do you know?  The dorm would be ok with me,
but if most people are at one motel, it would be nice to stay in the same
place.
