Oops, before anyone corrects me, of course there is another 1sg a- in Chickasaw: the 1sg "N" class prefix (which is formed with hypothetical ik-) is ak-. However, and I won't go into this here, this series definitely does not componentially include the II class prefixes in all persons. Pam
