virus/worm

We are indeed sending messages with the "sobig" worm from here, but we
can't help it: the problem is at the level of the university server, not
individual computers. I'm told that Microsoft has sent us a team to help
get rid of it. Meanwhile, we can only apologize -- we're getting the
annoying things too -- and tell you to delete the stuff and avoid opening
attachments. I don't know the whole story, but Symantec says it's
scheduled to de-activate itself on Sept. 10.
