A Couple of Suggestions as to Form of Postings

It's a good idea to delete as much of the history of a letter off the end
as possible when responding to it.  You should generally retain only the
parts you are specifically commenting on, with as much additional
background as you think necessary to clarify matters.  At least any
elaborate signatures, and, as far as the previous history of a letter, you
can rely on the archiving system to thread together things with the same
subject line.  This reduces the load on the archives and on downloads.

If the subject changes, it's a good idea to change the Subject-line,
perhaps initially including the original title with the rubric (was ...).
