Autonym of Mosopeleas-Ouesperies-Ofos

My thought was that the Ohio Valley Moose-turkey was the cousin of the Wyoming Jackalope (Lepus temperamentalis).

Such a construction would be impossible in Illinois, whatever it was
supposed to mean.

Didn't Bob come up with an alternate, non-Algonquian etymology for
'Mosopelea'?
