Request for info: Siouan and Caddoan Conference

Hi All,

Sorry for the delay, but hopefully here are some answers to your questions.

The conference is scheduled to run from June 2 (Wednesday) through June 5
(Saturday). I am still unsure as to how it will be organized as I have only
received a handful of abstracts/paper titles. So if you have those, please
pass them along. I know some of you are trying to juggle several things
over this time period. I am planning the conference party for Saturday
night so I hope most of you will be able to stick around for that.

There is a block of rooms reserved at The Holiday Inn Chicago, North Shore.
These rooms are at the special rate of $109.00 (not bad for Chicago). They
will also be running a shuttle from the Hotel to Campus and back every day.
The rooms should be reserved under the name Siouan and Caddoan Conference,
but I just found out they were under the name Northeastern Illinois
Linguistics. Hopefully that has been fixed and taken care of. If you have
made reservations and didn't get the discount, call back and let them know.
The number is: 847-679-8900.

As soon as I get a draft of the conference schedule together I will send it
out, but I need to hear from you all as to paper topics.

Thanks!

All the best,

John
